An avid reader who started reading at an early age in life, I remember book-mobiles coming to my neighborhood a long time before as an AA youth could go to the public library. I'm the second of six children and in retrospect my first book club was with my sisters, living in different states once a month one of us would do a conference call and talk about the books we read. Well, I'm a veterinarian by profession and a writer-come-lately. As a veterinarian, I was in a small animal practice for nine years in Virginia before moving to Mississippi. I currently work in the veterinary field, but not in private practice.
Writing is something that has been on the fringes of my consciousness for some time. After some life stresses, I finally put pen to paper and was off. To say it has been a gratifying experience is an understatement at best. As most writers know and as I have come to realize, writing releases pent-up stress and relaxes oneself tremendously.

Missy Brown
Misherald Brown, well known to the literary community as Missy, enjoys every aspect of the literary world from romance to science fiction. Missy became a lover of words in 2003 when she was introduce to Eric Jerome Dickey. Since then she has continue to read Eric's work along with the various authors in the community. In 2005, she ventured into the literary world herself launching Reality Press LLC a small press publishing company with a big goal. Today she resides in the Atlanta area where she continues to work with up and coming authors. She still enjoys reading a book with a good plot and a cute hero. Some of her favorite authors are Eric J Dickey, LA Banks, Marcus Major, Laurell K Hamilton, and AC Arthur.
